Advanced Structural Modelling and Design Module Intro

This is a core module for the final year BEng Civil Engineering programme. The module has been formulated to broaden your understanding of structural behaviour and the role of the structural engineer in the analysis and design of complex structures using a range of construction materials. The importance of sustainable design will be emphasised throughout, considering environmental and practical constraints in modern engineering.A global perspective will be introduced through real-world examples and case studies, highlighting current industry practices and design challenges.
